(유다서 1:1-4) 복음 + α

신약성경 사도행전 이후 모든 사도들에게는 공통된 문제가 하나 있었습니다. 그것은 다름이 아니라 복음이 훼손되는 것인데 특히나 복음의 내용을 감하는 것이 아니라, 무엇인가를 자꾸 복음에 더하는 것이 큰 문제였습니다. 바울사도는 복음에 율법을 더하는 것과 아니면 세상의 학문이나 지식을 더하는 것에 대하여 늘 경계했고 요한사도를 중심으로 한 유대인들을 대상으로 복음을 전했던 사도들은 주로 영지주의를 더하는 것을 경계했습니다.

사람들은 무엇인가가 부족하다고 여기지 않는 이상 뭔가를 더하려 하지 않습니다. 찌개를 끓인다고 했을 때 이미 간이 잘 맞는데 소금이나 간장을 더 넣지 않는 것과 같습니다. 그런데 복음에 무언가를 더하려고 한다는 것은 자기가 볼 때 복음이 온전하지 않다고 여기는 것입니다. 예수님께서 전하신 복음, 그것으로 족하고 충분하며, 사람에게 필요한 모든 것을 채워 주신다는 것을 믿는다면 복음에 뭔가를 더할 이유가 없는 것입니다.

그런데 사람들은 오늘날도 복음에 뭔가를 자꾸 더하려고 합니다. 얼마전에 페이스북에서 <복음+인문학>이란 글을 보고 순간 흥분했던 적이 있습니다. 날카롭게 댓글을 한 번 붙이려다 참았는데, 하나님을 믿는 신앙에 뭐가 부족해서 세상의 초등학문을 자꾸 붙이려고 하는지 그 믿음의 타락을 보는 것이 참 쉽지는 않습니다. 어쩌면 사람들에게 <욕>이라는 것이 있는 이유가 이럴 때 욕하라고 있는 것이 아닌가 싶기도 합니다.

사실 사람들이 이렇듯 하나님의 말씀과 계명에 인간의 하찮은 생각을 더한 것은 어제 오늘이 이야기가 아닙니다. 알고 보면 구약성경에 나오는 모든 선지자자들의 외침도 다 그것입니다. 이스라엘 백성들이 하나님을 버리고 성전을 허물고 바알을 섬긴 것이 아닙니다. 하나님을 믿는 믿음에 바알을 믿는 믿음을 더했던 것입니다. 하나님께서 말씀하시는 타락의 본질이 바로 그것입니다.

유다 사도가 말씀하고 있는 ‘가만이 들어 온 것’이 그것이 또한 같은 것입니다. 그리고 그것은 아주 오래 전부터 하나님의 은혜를 색욕거리로 만드는 것이라고 판결을 받은 자들의 소행이라는 것입니다. 그러니까 복음에 무언가를 더하거나 빼는 사람들은 아주 오래 전부터 있는 멸망의 자손들과 그 후손이라는 것입니다.

오늘날도 대부분의 교회와 신앙이 이렇듯 복음에 뭔가를 더하려고 합니다. 예배 드리는 예식 하나도 이렇게 해야 한다고 합니다. 헌금 할 때 신권으로 하면 더 좋다고 합니다. 복음에 인문학을 더하면 더 좋은 신앙이 된다고 하고, 믿음이 없으니 신앙에 과학을 더하면 믿음이 더 좋아진다고 합니다. 이런 모든 것이 바로 가만히 들어온 그리스도를 부인하는 소행이라는 것입니다.

앞서 언급한 바와 같이 사람이 하나님을 믿는 신앙에 뭔가를 더하려고 하는 것은 하나님의 말씀이 온전하다고 믿지 않기 때문입니다. 하나님의 말씀이 온전하다고 믿는다면 왜 과학을 더하고, 인문학이다 철학이다 하면서 하나씩 더하겠습니까? 다된 찌개에 왜 소금을 더 넣겠냐는 것입니다. 그렇게 뭔가를 넣는 사람들은 그리스도를 부인하는 것입니다. 그리스도를 온전하다고 말하면서 신앙에 뭔가를 더한다? 그것은 당연히 그리스도를 부인하는 것이고 거짓말하는 것입니다.

신앙의 타락이 다른 것이 아닙니다. 모든 신앙의 타락은 바로 여기에 기인합니다. 하나님의 말씀을 온전한 것으로 보지 않는 것에서 시작합니다. 아담과 하와도 선악과를 먹으면 ‘눈이 밝아질 것’이라는 꾀임에 빠졌습니다. 지금의 상태보다 더 나아진다는 꾀임에 빠졌다는 것입니다. 하나님께서 만든 자신들의 정체성이 온전하다고 믿었다면 그것을 받을 이유가 있겠습니까?

그래서 지금도 사람들은 선악과의 문제가 해결되지 않은 체 살고 있습니다. 인생도 부정하고 세상도 부정하기에 뭔가를 더하려는 마음으로 살고 있고, 그리고 더하고 빼는 것에 있어 어떤 것이 더 선한 것인지, 무엇을 빼고 무엇을 더하는 것이 선한 것인지 각자가 다른 것을 가지고 와서는 싸우고 있는 것입니다. 그래서 종교는 종파가 갈라지고 세상은 늘 다툼과 시끄러움이 있는 것입니다. 이것이 바로 선악과의 문제가 해결되지 않았다는 것입니다.

그리고 그 타락함의 극을 보여주는 곳은 오히려 교회입니다. 세상이야 예수님을 모르니 그렇다고 치고, 교회는 하나님의 말씀을 듣고 읽으며, ‘여호와는 나의 목자시니 내가 부족함이 없으리로다’라는 말씀을 믿고 뇌까리고 집이다 사업장이다 가리지 않고 붙여 놓고서 정작 창조과학이다 복음에 인문학을 더한다고 하면 ‘그래 좋은 것이 좋은 것이지 좋은 것 하나라도 더하면 더 좋지’라며 이내 빠져들 고 있는 것입니다. 

신앙은 하나님이 주신 말씀, 예수 그리스도께서 전하신 복음 외에 아무 것도 필요 없습니다. 그것이면 온전합니다. 믿음만 있으면 모든 것이 된다고, 먼저 그 나라와 의만 구하면 된다고 하셨으면 그것으로 족한 줄 아는 것이 하나님을 믿는 것이지, 자신이 하나님을 공경하니 더 좋은 것을 보이려고 할 필요가 없는 것입니다. 하나님이 원하는 것은 제사가 아니라 순종이라고 한 것을 잊고 있는 것입니다.

율법주의가 되었든 영지주의가 되었든 그 뿌리는 다 같다고 했습니다. 하나님께서 만드신 사람, 육신을 가진 인생이 온전하지 못하다고 여기는 것에서 시작한 것입니다. 예수님께서 말씀이 육신이 되신 분이라고 하신 것은 하나님의 말씀이 이 육신으로 표현됨에 부족함이 없다는 것입니다. 사람을 만드시고 보시기에 좋았다고 하나님께서 말씀하심 또한 같은 것입니다. 변화산에서 모세나 엘리야가 필요한 것이 아니라 예수님의 말씀만 들으면 된다고 한 것이 그것입니다.

오늘 우리가 성경을 읽고서 그것에 뭔가를 더하려고 하는 것, 행동으로 지켜내야 온전한 것이라는 근원된 것에서부터 인문학이나 창조과학과 같은 것을 더하면 좀 더 고상하고 좋은 신앙이 될 것 같은 그 마음들도 다 하나님께서 만드신 육신 가진 삶을 부족하게 여겨 행위의 율법과 영지주를 좇은 것과 다 같은 것입니다. 하나님의 말씀과 그리스도의 복음을 부족하게 보고 자신의 가치를 더한 것이기 때문입니다. 이 모든 것이 바로 유다 사도가 말씀하고 있는 가만히 들어온 그리스도를 부인하는 사람들인 것입니다.

It is also the same thing that the apostle Judas has spoken of. And that is the way of those who have been judged for a long time to make God's grace lustful. So, those who add or subtract something to the Gospel are the descendants of the long-standing destruction and their descendants.

Today, most churches and beliefs try to add something to the gospel. It is said that we should do this service for worship. It is better to give the priesthood when making offerings. If we add the humanities to the gospel, we say that it is a better faith, and because there is no faith, it is said that faith adds more science to faith. All of this is the act of denying Christ, who has come to life.

As I mentioned earlier, it is because people do not believe that God's Word is perfect when they try to add something to their faith in God. If you believe that the Word of God is perfect, why add more science, humanities, philosophy, and one more? Why do you want to add more salt to the stew? Those who put in something like that are denying Christ. Do you add something to your faith, saying that Christ is perfect? It is, of course, denying Christ and lying.

The fall of faith is no different. It is here that the fall of all faith is here. We begin by not seeing God's Word as complete. Adam and Eve also fell into the trick of "getting their eyes bright" when they eat the fruit of the orchard. It is said that it is getting better than the current condition. If you believed that God's identity was perfect, why would you want to do it?

So now people still live without solving the problem of good and evil. I am living in a desire to deny life and deny the world, and I am fighting with each other bringing out what is good in adding and subtracting, what is good, and what is good. So religion is divided into denominations and the world is always quarreled and noisy. This means that the problem of good and evil has not been solved.

And it is the church that shows the pole of the fallen. It is the world. I do not know Jesus. The church is listening to the Word of God and reading it. Faith does not need anything other than the Word of God, the gospel preached by Jesus Christ. That is perfect. If you have faith, you are all. If you say that you can only do that with the kingdom, then it is believing in God that you are satisfied with it. You do not need to show better things because you honor God. God forgets that what he wants is obedience, not sacrifice.

Whether it was legalism or gnosticism, it is said that all of its roots are the same. It began with the assumption that God created man, the life with the flesh, is incomplete. Jesus said that the Word was flesh, which means that the Word of God is not lacking in being expressed in this body. It is also the same God said that He made man and made it good. It is not that we need Moses or Elias in the mountains of change, but that we should hear the words of Jesus.

Today we read the Bible and try to add something to it, from the source that it is necessary to protect it by the action, and to add something like humanities or creation science, it is a more noble and good faith. It is the same as the law of conduct and the Lordship of the Lordship, which seem to lack life. It is because it lacks the Word of God and the gospel of Christ and adds to its value. These are all the people who deny Christ who is still speaking to us by the apostle Judas.
